Day 2: Hinduism
Learning Target: I will be able to explain where Hinduism is common, what Hindu people believe, and how they practice their religion.
If absent, please complete the following:

3. Watch Brainpop video clip called "Diwali"

Day 3: Buddhism
Learning Target: I will be able to explain who the Buddha was, how Buddhism developed out of Hinduism, what Buddhists believe, and how Buddhists practice their religion.
If absent, please complete the following:
1. Print the letter, have a parent or guardian sign it, and bring it back as soon as possible.
2. You will view and choose your summative task options when you come back to class. If gone for a long time, email me.
3. View YouTube clip "The Buddha" from PBS (video above: find the Buddhism section)
4. View Daily Motion video clip "Siddhartha Gautama" by Istemple (video above: find the Buddhism section)
5. View Buddhism Review Powerpoint (just look at it...nothing to write)
5. Homework: Parent Letter due, Study for quiz next class on Hinduism and Buddhism, (students in class today should begin working on their summative task)
