Consequences
A student's actions--and possibly history of action--determine the consequences of a rule violation. Generally speaking, a first-time minor incident will prompt a simple verbal warning. Further repetition or more severe incidents may call for contact with home, referrals to the office, detentions, etc. Remember that rules and norms of the school and district always apply.
